Insulation tape over the N-connector and along a couple of inches of the
cable is usually enough.. Just ensure that it is wrapped on properly.

Need ideas for how to keep moisture out of a length 
of LMR-400 running into an n-connector. Are there any heat-shrink plastic 
collars or something?
