[MLB-WIRELESS] Qusetions about APs

If I put two access points within range of each other, will the traffic
received on one be sent to the other, like a wireless bridge? Or is it
a feature only of particular APs?

I'm looking at the D-Link DWL-900AP+ and DWL-1000AP+ APs. The info on the
DWL-1000AP+ talks about a "repeater mode". Is this what I am looking
for? Will this sort of thing not work with the 900AP+?

Also, the 1000AP+ has two antennas. What can and can't I do with this?
I don't quite understand the deal with diversity. Can I stick a
directional antenna in one socket, make an ad hoc link over that, and
put an omni on the other socket, and find that everything works as I
want it to?

Thanks,

Cameron
