RE: [MLB-WIRELESS] Some advice on products needed please.HIya,

thanks guys. Um, there is no network cards in either computer, thats the whole point!! 8-) What I was hoping for was that someone would say, yeah, get this and this, as they work under winXP and win98se and this cradle is compatible with your proximDS PCMCIA card.

I realise cable is easier, and cheaper, but not practical in my situation.

I would settle for a compatible cradle for my proxim card..

  Jamie,

Currently what network adapters are in each PC? You will need a way to network both PC's physically. So either two LAN cards and a crossover cable, or two wireless cards. Once you have this, you can easily use the basic windows networking to share directories, printers and files.

  Hi

Wondering if someone could give me a few pointers or suggestions on what I
need, that will work re OS systems etc to get my two home computers
  connected to each other.

I currently own one Proxim RangelanDS PCMCIA card.

My main computer is running XP, the second is running win98se.

  Thanks in advance

  Regards
