Hey guys

I have finally got my cards today (wl-210).
I have 1 running in my NT server box and the other in my friends laptop.
hehe this mail is written on the laptop.
Tonight is the first test of the cards and I was able to achieve a
throughput of 590k/sec between the 2 machines.

This week we intend to build some antennas (any recomendations for a 4km
link ?) and we will try to get a connection going between Narre Warren and
Berwick.

I will keep you informed if we have any luck.

mick.

The prism test util does switch the card to AP mode (check out screen
caps), although I could not test this config without screwing with my
setups, it did appear to active the card and act as the server... Sounds
pretty cool...

Cap 1 = AP MODE
Cap 2 = Server tray icon (look bottom right)
Cap 3 = Shutdown Server message (look like a server to me)

+i'd wait for 802.11g, supposedly will also be 54mb/s, and
+backwards compatible with 802.11b, or you can switch to a
+turbo mode which isn't compatible, but will do 70mb/s
+
+this is from memory so my numbers may be slightly off... ;)
