I agree.  N connectors would be the most common connector used at these
frequencies (SMA is common in other areas, but these are a pain to wire
up!).  If I ever get in a position to put up a wireless link, I will be
using N connectors where I can (probably everywhere except for at the card
itself).  For me, that also gives me flexibility to swap bits between
wireless and amateur use (since the latter uses N connectors at the higher
frequencies).
