Hi all,

I have a friend that is looking to get wireless set up in his flat.
He is looking for a BOX only that does everything. Does not want an old PC
set up to do NAT, DHCP etc, but wants to use an off the shelf product.
He only has access to a normal phone line so obviously can not use the many
products out there deigned to connect to Cable or ADSL connections.

Is there any Wireless products like this around that has a 56K modem built
in rather than ethernet port?

If he has to he would go for two BOXES. One for the Internet connection
with built in 56K that does NAT etc and another that is the Wireless access
port to then connect the rest of his laptops/PC's to.

I have made him aware of the potential cost of going for an off the shelf
product(s) as opposed to an old PC running linux. He wants the BOX!
Mainly as space issue in his flat.
I know what I would do.....

Steven
