Who says the Betamax is in the cupboard?  I thought it'd be off monitoring
the ATV repeater, or the output of an analogue satellite receiver looking
for ATV on the higher bands. :-)

My point?  There will be uses for the cards, and at this early stage, we
don't know how the new standard will be deployed.  It might just end up
being a way for the big boys to hook up a heap of high paying customers, for
all we know...
