Wow, you weren't kidding when you said MASSIVE. I've done this many
years ago, with no M$ trained monkeys. These masts are telescopic, lower one
section at a time, from the top. As you lower the top section the guy wires on the next section
keep the structure stable. Keep going until you have all sections down. Plant Omni on top,
reverse procedure. Simple? No!

This is a job for Riggers.

You need to find a few of these guys that are interested in
a) Wireless
b) Slabs of beer
c) Money
d) A compromise of the above

Do Not Try This At Home  :-)

I can't remember the topology around that area but given the photos, the height must
warrant it as a serious contender for a major AP.

If people are serious about making wireless happen, this could be it.
