Hi all,

Just been hit this morning by the infamous bug which Steven posted about
last month on this thread:
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2013-04/msg02590.html

The troubled dom0 is running CentOS 6.4 with
kernel-3.8.3-1.el6xen.x86_64 and xen-4.1.1-3.el6.x86_64. The domU whose
network froze is running CentOS 5.9 i686 with
kernel-xen-2.6.18-348.4.1.el5 at the time. After rebooting the domU, its
network died again 4 minutes later. These are the relevant log entries:

May 23 04:47:02 xen kernel: vif vif-58-0 vifvm106.0: Frag is bigger than
frame.
May 23 04:47:02 xen kernel: vif vif-58-0 vifvm106.0: fatal error;
disabling device
May 23 04:47:02 xen kernel: br0: port 5(vifvm106.0) entered disabled
state

After booting the domU on another Xen node that runs an older,
2.6.32-based Xen kernel, I've got its kernel upgraded to
kernel-xen-2.6.18-348.6.1.el5 and now it's running back on the original
Xen node for about 30 minutes, no issues yet. I suppose it's a case of
wait and see how it goes.
