            <p>Melbourne Wireless first got together in December 2001,
              and quickly grew as a buzzing social gathering of tech
              heads who worked together to build an amazing wireless
              network that at its peak connected Melbourne to far off
              places including Geelong, Bendigo, Warragul, Lorne, Woori
              Yallock, and even Adelaide. The network boasted speeds far
              beyond commercial offerings, especially for those that
              were left on the wrong side of the digital divide when
              older technologies such as DSL were not available to all
              households and businesses.</p>
            <p>Since the arrival of the National Broadband Network, the
              need for community broadband has certainly declined… but
              we’re not dead yet!</p>
            <p>Come along and be a part of something very special -
              rebooting Melbourne Wireless in the age of the NBN!</p>
