<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">From the contour map, Node IXM seems to be near the top of a hill, at an </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">elevation of about 75m above sea level. No wonder it has a good view.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">In the short-term, I'd say this location may provide a way of linking the </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">south-east cluster (Node GXT) and others to the rest of the network - </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">probably via Node GUR. I believe the nodeFPY ssid is probably actually Node </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">GDW in Taylors Lakes. It is possibly a bit too far away from IXM to get a </FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">Node IXM is also known as Node HPLb on www.nodedb.com, the elevation map </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">looks promising.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">Phil, I guess if you want to progress node IXM further you'll need to make </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">sure the landlord is ok with stuff being but on the roof - perhaps suggest a </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">way which is completely removable and won't leave holes or marks on the </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">house.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">As far as providing gear is concerned, I'd advise - build it and they will </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">come. Get a couple of useful links happening to that location and then </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">others may be interested in jumping on board. Start by linking in to the </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">larger network - I'd suggest linking to Node GUR. Once you're linked to it, </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Monaco">the location becomes much more attractive to others.</FONT>
