(shouldn't be) > Microwave nearby? > (can't monitor link quality in adhoc under linux) To be able to monitor the link quality in ad-hoc mode under linux, you need to tell it the ip or mac address of the card your connecting to: iwspy eth3 + 10.0.2.1 You can then use iwspy or iwconfig to monitor the link quality.
