Hi Brian,

At least it’s starting to work.

At the moment the bandwidth is limited, maybe 1 mbit throughput.

But this is due to the HOP to GHO being the bottleneck, the link to Geelong is better than it’s ever been.

I need to visit GHO to re-align to fix that.


I also have another site that will shorten the path to further increase bandwidth which just needs some repairs to get back online.

What speed is the link to Geelong?

I’ve managed to secure a new site to host the melbourne end of the link and pass it back into the main network.

This site has just come online and there’s still some aliignment and optiomisation to do, but it’s a much better signal than the old link to the CBD..

We also have plans to re-establish more links to bring things back online like the links to west melbourne.
