[MLB-WIRELESS] DD-WRT OSPF Bird Config

Hi Richard,

I believe most of the guys who would have been running OSPF on *WRT distros would have been using quagga (myself included), but I'd say the majority of routing on the network runs on Mikrotik routerboards.

I've never used BIRD before, however the OSPF configuration that we run over the MW network is very simple (broadcast, one area with an ID of '0.0.0.0', and no authentication), so feel free to have a crack at configuring it and let us know how you go.

Cheers,
Andrew.

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] DD-WRT OSPF Bird Config

Hi Folks

Does anyone have a bird.conf file to support the melbourenwireless network? If so would you be able to share?

I have a Linksys WRT54GS running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/02/09) std and am looking to get OSPF up and running. The BIRD (http://bird.network.cz ) routing daemon is part of the base firmware so it would be ideal if I can get it to work.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Richard
