elevation of about 75m above sea level. No wonder it has a good view.

In the short-term, I'd say this location may provide a way of linking the
south-east cluster (Node GXT) and others to the rest of the network -
probably via Node GUR. I believe the nodeFPY ssid is probably actually Node
GDW in Taylors Lakes. It is possibly a bit too far away from IXM to get a
useful link, but certainly worth a try. Also, links across large bodies of
water are usually unstable.

If the owner of Node GXT (Mark Aitken) is reading this, please get in touch
with Phil at Node HPL and see if you can do a link test to Node IXM. :) If
Node IXM is also known as Node HPLb on www.nodedb.com, the elevation map
looks promising.

Phil, I guess if you want to progress node IXM further you'll need to make
sure the landlord is ok with stuff being but on the roof - perhaps suggest a
way which is completely removable and won't leave holes or marks on the
house.

As far as providing gear is concerned, I'd advise - build it and they will
come. Get a couple of useful links happening to that location and then
others may be interested in jumping on board. Start by linking in to the
larger network - I'd suggest linking to Node GUR. Once you're linked to it,
the location becomes much more attractive to others.
