Re: [MLB-WIRELESS] Converting satellite dish antenna to WiFiHi all

I'll add my 10 cents here.

Amateurlogic did a video on how to convert a sateliite dish in episode 10

  You can do this

The common way to do this is with a butterfly antenna or cantenna as a feed

just don't forget to set the dish to 0 deg (horizon)

On offset dishes u can use a 45 deg pole to push the dish down by 45 deg

Then the 45 deg mark on the dish is actually zero

  Have fun

  Peter

  Hi all

I have an unused satellite dish antenna which I would like to convert
to a WiFI antenna... Can't quite bring myself to throwing it out.

I am a complete newbie at this, so any help, advise and/or assistance
would be greatly appreciated (rewarded with beer perhaps?).

  Cheers
     Serg
