Can you connect with no encryption turned on?

If yes....Maybe use Mac Address filtering instead of WPA?

just repeating... can connect to teh html interface via wireless but
cannot ping it. No internet connectivity.

set up WPA2 or even WPA on winXP? (e.g. between the wirelss AP and the PC)

troubleshoot the winXP network settigns to find out what is wrong with the
network connectivity? (webpage or recommended software tools - preferably
open source)
