Yes they work... Any orinoco based 802.11b card will

I have tried Cabletron/Enterasys, Avaya, and Orinoco branded gold cards
in my avaya AP3 (AP2000) all have worked just fine.

The AP will temporarily replace the firmware on the cards whilst they
are in the unit.

queries regarding whether or not the AP2000 will support these and while
