Menzies building is definitely visible with the naked eye from GHO, will
be in the beam pattern for the GHO-South interface, range will be around
22km I'd guess.

Mooroolbark might be a bit too far north, but you might get a decent
sniff of the GHO-Mobile interface at that range.

Woot!

A big pat on the back for everyone who was involved.

.. apparently one of the network guys jumped on the 9th floor of our
Menzies building and said he picked up some melbourne.wireless.org.au
stuff with a Fluke network analyzer fitted with a wireless module (might
see if I can bring one of these along to our meeting in July). Doubt
that was GHO, though.

With that 8dBi omni, I might get the 1W amp back from a friend and give
it a try - I'm <10km away but I suspect I may still not be able to get
it.
*fingers crossed*.

Anyone in the Chirnside park/Mooroolbark area connecting to this node?
