[MLB-WIRELESS] Converting the WRT54G into a WRT54GS?

Ive been hearing that you can convert a Linksys WRT54G to a WRT54G S by 
changing the firmware? Can anyone confirm this?

I understand there are some physical differences (such as the 1mb 
virtual disk in the 54G as opposed to the 3mb in the 54GS) but I hear these
firmware hacks for the 54G add the "SpeedBooster Technology" which by 
default is only in the 54GS's.
