My own personal feelings are that the list doesn't need to be split in
two, purely for volume reasons. Personally I'm quite happy to discuss
complex technical issues in the main list. So why did I raise this
issue in the first place? I feel that there are those out there who are
reluctant to contribute their technical thoughts to the main list, but
who would be happier to contribute to a smaller audience in a
specialised list. Things like routing need to be discussed and debated
and I feel some are not as willing as I to air their strong opinions in
a general list like this. I want to encourage more people to speak up -
Matt Mills you're one such person. :)

In general I'd like to see people with strong opinions on any wireless
issues speaking up in here. It's what makes the list interesting -
don't be afraid it'll turn into a flame war - we're all mature adults in
here aren't we? :) Debates don't need to turn personal, and at the end
of the day we're all striving for much the same thing. I don't even see
a problem if political "camps" form around some issues - although we may
not be big enough for such a situation to occur. Nevertheless, lively,
intelligent debate is informative and entertaining and I'd like to see
more of it.

Cheers,

Dan
