[MLB-WIRELESS] 2004 Melbourne Wireless Annual General Meeting/Elections

Hi All,
 The Melbourne Wireless Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for the
Friday 12th of November 2004.

 At the AGM we will be electing a new committee for 2004/5. You must be a
financial member to nominate and vote, so join or renew your membership ASAP
if you wish to take part. New membership applications must be in by the 5th
November to be approved in time for the AGM.

 We are calling for nominations for the positions of President, Vice
President, Treasurer, Secretary and 2 x Ordinary Committee members - A
member can only be nominated for one executive position and/or a committee
position.
 - You must be a member to nominate or be nominated.
 - Nominations must be seconded by another member.
 - You may nominate yourself.
 - Nominations must be sent to committee at wireless.org.au before 7PM
 Friday 5th November 2004.
 - When nominating someone, make sure they are willing to accept, and have
another member second it.

 Nominations will _only_ be called for on the night for positions that have
not recieved any prior nominations. ie. Dont expect to be able to nominate
on the night, do it now!


 Proxy Voting:

Procedures for proxy voting, will be emailed out to all, at least a week
before the election.


 If you have any questions about the nomination and proxy vote
 procedures, please email the committee.
