[MLB-WIRELESS] Linksys WRT54G

The cool thing I notice with the WRT54G is, like other SOHO routers, it
has a built-in switch on the LAN interface.  Do you think it is possible
to reverse the firewall/routing behaviour in the unit so that the LAN
interface effectively becomes the WAN interface, and vise-versa?  I ask
because I'm wondering if it's possible to hang two "dumb" APs (eg.
Minitars) off the inbuilt switch and perhaps use alias interfaces for
each of them.

You would then have four interfaces:

The WRT54G's inbuilt wireless interface

The WRT54G's inbuilt WAN interface which we would use as the LAN
interface

Let's call the 3rd interface LAN0:0 which would be a subnet for one of
our dumb APs

Let's call the 4th interface LAN0:1 which would be another subnet for
our other dumb AP.

You could then have a full-on routing node with 3 wireless interfaces,
again with no PC in sight.  And relatively cheap too!
