Senator Richard Alston - branded by The Register
(http://www.theregister.co.uk) as the world's greatest luddite - today
stood down as Australia's Communications Minister pending his retirement
from politics. Howard has announced that now former Attorney-General
Darryl Williams will take his place in the ministry.
As an aside, Phil Ruddock becomes Attroney-General, and Mandy Vandstone
takes over Immigration.
Election in 12 months, I believe.
