Check out http://www.moxa.com.au/
under media converters. They have a serial to ethernet converter of some
sorts. Not sure if it's the right one for you, but it's better than nothing.

Google. Is there anything it can't do?

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] Serial to ethernet?
Hi People,
I have the need to run a serial (DTE) device from a remote PC.
Is there any programs around that would allow me to re-direct the serial
port on the remote
PC along my LAN and WLAN to another PC that is actually running the
application required?
I would need to "trick" both pc's into thinking that there was an actual
physical serial link.
Thanks
Mark
