Not the same frequency but the ABC JJJ transmitter on Mt Barrow in Launceston can
be picked up on a car radio in parts of Hobart, 200km away, last i heard it was running
50 megawatts. though i may bewrong on this figure.
As for khz AM well there is the ABC 936 transmitter in southern tas
