That's odd - I've always been told that Airport slots and PCMCIA 
slots are not pin compatible.
Tristan did the Enterasys to Orinoco flash for me on a Powerbook G3 
in the PCMCIA slot.  I've since been informed that both the 
Orinoco/Mac and Airport drivers will automagically do the 128 bit 
upgrade on the cards.
