OK - when giving questions on firewalls you need to always provide some extra
information:
1) What distribution are you using ?
2) Which kernel are you using - i.e. what does uname -a say ?
3) Whether you are using ipchains or iptables firewalling - i.e. what do
/sbin/ipchains-save and /sbin/iptables-save say ?
4) Are you using a firewall configuration program, if so, which one ?
5) What kernel modules are loaded - i.e. what does /sbin/lsmod say ?
