i'm glad you acknowledge both your lack of knowledge and the polite
manner in which i pointed it out. it saves a lot of time and effort.

now please desist from diagnosing things you are not qualified to
diagnose. it is very easy for systems to get seriously broken when the
ignorant insist on having their say and, worse, that their opinion is
worth as much as anyone else's. the cult of mediocrity is something
that doesn't work well in technical fields...in fact, it leads to
disaster.

yes, i agree. it's very good for a tech-oriented group to have
technically competent members. that means that there's a chance that
they might actually achieve something (rather than just *talk* about
it), and it also means there's a good chance that what they achieve is
actually worth achieving (rather than a worthless mess that doesn't
work).

fortunately, MW does seem to have a reasonable number of competent techs
involved.

unfortunately, you persist in misdiagnosing the problem. the problem
had *NOTHING* to do with From or Cc or To: headers. i demonstrated this
in my last message which you obviously didn't bother to read, even
though you sent me a private mail calling me a "jerkoff".

see comments above re: ignorance

really, if you don't know what you're talking about then it is far
better to remain silent. no one will think worse of you if you refrain
from making ignorant comments.
