[MLB-WIRELESS] Reverse SMA connectors

Hiya,
I was wondering if there is anyone out there who knows where I can find reverse SMA connectors or complete "pigtails" in Adelaide.  ZCG Scalar in Vic (where I buy stuff from) has been sent some for testing but haven't yet released them for sale yet.
Any who knows why wireless network devices have these weird reverse polarity connectors?  I first saw this on a old Spectrum 24 W-Lan card many years ago, it had a reverse BNC.
