if you can only get about 600kb per sec with large files can anyone tell me if there is any software out there that is capable of compressing data before transmission and uncompressing it again at the other end ??

I have got 600kB/sec with 2 entrasys cards in the same room running ad-hoc mode with FTP (thats 600kB/sec average with a large file)
