Well, it's almost that time of month again! (stop snickering down the back!)

It's time for the next monthly Melbourne Wireless users group meeting!

Over on the wiki (http://www.wireless.org.au/wiki/?Meeting20020614) you can
see that we will have Enterasys Networks coming out to tell us what's going
on in the world of wireless, their position, and what is coming in the
future.

There's also Robert Broomhead, he'll have something to say about Coax cable,
and why you can't get very far with an odd cutting of speaker wire. He's
also going to have some connectors, coax samples and lots of goodies that
will help you get up and running. No longer will you look at a connecter and
go "what the hell is that???"

James Healy will be giving a 5 minute talk on the AWA meeting he attended in
Sydney, and we'll be able to find out just exactly what they're trying to
do.

There's also going to be the vote on incorporation - and you'll be able to
see what the result of all the WGstructure meetings have been at the Geebung
pub (besides drinking alcoholic beverages).

There will probably be some kind of BBQ going in one form or another, and
probably drinks available too... All profits from the BBQ and drinks will go
to Melbourne Wireless.

And no doubt there's going to be someone there selling odd bits and pieces -
but remember, Melbourne Wireless isn't responsible for what you buy!

It's going to be a packed meeting (and hopefully no more wet "it just turned
off" laptops) with lots of things going on, so it'd be great to see all of
you guys coming along for what promises to be an interesting night...

Signed,
Steven Haigh
