Howdy,
What firmware is currently on your card?  You can use the roamabout client
to see what version of the firmware you are using.  If you are running 6.04
(which is what the cards came with), there's a chance that the 'dynamic'
firmware update feature of the newer 7.x drivers isn't working.  The 6.04
firmware doesn't support true IBSS ad-hoc mode, only ad-hoc demo mode.  6.06
corrected this.
