rule number 1 with the media
follow your own agenda not theirs
dont respond but use the interest that the media has generated
wait a week and press release to all media outlets about what a
community network can do and hint about the forces of repression that
are trying to run you out of town (telstra, optus and other carriers)
talk live to 774 3lo - you'll get a hearing - criticise the
archetypical hacker - but highlight the social and community benefits
an the struggle against the top end of town.
sorry to be a cynic
but i've been paid to be a political lobbyist in the past and know how
these things work
