More Pigtail News...Hello Shane,

Yes the units are both the same design, the only differance is the external packaging of the units, they are made by Lucent with the onboard software by Karlnet.

Regards,

Robert

  Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] AP info needed

From what I can find regarding the Apple Airport and the RG-1000 they seem to be quite similar in design. Can someone confirm this for me / or deny it.

Reason I ask is that I can find a great number of utilities available for both and some programs (linux based) seem to be able to use both. I am simply trying to decide which way to go. I love the idea of running Linux on the AP for the convenience of remote access via SSH and know this is apossible with the Airport, is this possible with the RG-1000?

This is now holding me up so please try and assist with anything you may know - be it info or links to relevant docs.

  TIA
