You've heard the joke about the comms engineer on the rifle range, right?
He keeps missing the target and so decides to test the "link" by putting
his finger over the end of the barrel and pulling the trigger.  Upon
seeing his finger duly blown off, he yells to the other end "it's coming
out fine here - must be a problem at your end".   :)
