OK, here's my long awaited (since the pub meet) dB lookup tables, for those
who are "mathematically challenged" (or "phobic") :-)

Gain to dB conversions: (note these are approximate only)

Power gain (ratio output to input) Gain (dB)
0.001		 					-30dB
0.01							-20dB
0.1							-10dB
0.2							-7dB
0.25							-6dB
0.333							-5dB
0.4							-4dB
0.5							-3dB
1 (no gain/loss)					0dB
1.26							1dB
1.58							2dB
2							3dB
2.5							4dB
3							5dB
4							6dB
5							7dB
8							9dB
10							10dB
20							13dB
50							17dB
100							20dB
200							23dB
500							27dB
1000							30dB

And dBm is simply dB * 1 mW

so
1 uW (microwatt) = -30dBm
10 uW = -20dBm
100 uW = -10dBm
1mW = 0dBm
10mW = 10dBm
100mW = 20dBm
1W = 30dBm
4W = 36 dBm (EIRP limit)
10W = 40dBm
100W = 50dBm

Other values can be worked out from the first table. :-)
