[MLB-WIRELESS] PCI2.2 Woes (DLink DWL-520)

I got me a D-Link DWL-520 wireless card today. OK, so it said PCI2.2 and
3.3V only but to be sure I plugged it into my Super 7 board (FIC PA-2007)
which is my mail firewall/router and it wasn't detected. Fair enuf. The
FIC PA-2007 is PCI2.0 compliant. It didn't work, but it does work in my
late model Abit mobo.
So.... the upshot of this is, if you want to plug wireless gear into older
PCI2.0 and PCI2.1 mother boards (or ones that don't have 3.3V support)
_make sure_ your PCMCIA<->PCI adapter or wireless PCI card will work in the
older system. This usually means the card or converter will have a
5V->3.3V circuit on it. The DWL-520 doesn't have any of that and will only
work in new systems.
<Grumble> This is not how I had planned it...
