Well, I really think we should wait until we have something to show
them, otherwise they will get really keen, get pissed off, and be
disinclined in the future.

Well, yes, we become a real actual community resource instead of a
resource for a heap of individuals.  i.e. we offer stuff to wide groups
of people, as opposed to a network of individuals doing their thing and
hooking up with other individuals.  I see gaming in a similar light.
