Ad-Hoc might have issues, the original enterasys firmware was running a non 
conforming version of Ad-Hoc is what I've heard on the rumour mill. Which 
is a good reason to upgrade the enterasys cards.

What cards are you using? The prisms do AP mode but the orinocos aren't 
supposed to be able to. I'd be interested to know if you had the hermes / 
enterasys cards going in AP.
