[MLB-WIRELESS] [NODE EAI] Now operating...sort of!?

Can someone please inform me of the prefered setup of my computer to act as
a node of some value on our network?
I currently have Win98SE, PIII 500, 256Mb etc but what applications or
otherwise should be on the HDD. (besides the Tribes2 & Unreal Tournament
Servers;-)
I could change the OS to Linux if someone can set it up as I have swapable
HDD carriers that can boot. (OK Ryan, Open BSD as well;-)
I have had SUSE 7.0 and BEOS working on this system OK in the past.
Is there a prefered SOE for an AP Node?

Anyway the PC will be on the AP working all day Thurs Anzac Day.
