My case is a little different.  It's the case of accumulating expenses -
various club memberships will add up, plus things like cable internet, which
are all "hobby" related.  $35/year in itself is not an issue for me, but
when added on top of all the other stuff (both fixed and variable expenses),
one has to draw the line somewhere... :-)

Hmm, let's see.

Cable
Radio club
WIA (when I get round to filling in the form)
Hardware and projects
and then the petrol to attend all the various meetings, etc, for all the
above (I'm on the club committee, so get an extra lot of meetings).
