I've got a winmodem running in my linux box and apart from having to
remember to reinstall the module everytime I do a make modules then it
hasn't given me any problems. Install is easy and there are so many of them
out there.... It's nowhere near as annoying as the netcomm usb modem I have
that (due to netcomm using non compliant or older now unsupported usb
drivers) will not work on anything else but a win98/95 machine. (/whinge)
