Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] $50 card and win XP
I am having issues with XP, nokia cradle and the Cabletron $50 card
XP has drivers built in for the cradle and card and these are the
drivers i am using
However.....
On machine 1: won't boot with card in cradle. Boots with card not in
cradle but locks up hard as soon as card is inserted in cradle (seeing
same behavior under win2k as well)
On machine 2: won't boot with card in cradle. Boots with card not in
cradle and works fine if card is inserted in cradle once XP is running!!
I spoke to enterasys support and new XP drivers are due anyday. (were
due 8 April - haven't seen them yet. Drivers are finished and with MS
for approval..)
I thought my problems were IRQ related but after removing all hardware
except the essentials i am still seeing locks so maybe it is the built
in XP drivers???
I understand that compaq drivers may work - haven't tried them yet.
If anyone can add any suggestions it would be appreciated
Cheers
David
