[MLB-WIRELESS] milestone

Orinoco cards support iBSS (Ad-Hoc) mode. You may want to install a more recent version
of the firmware using the software from Lucent. (see http://www.hyperlinktech.com/)

I'm running one under linux using a PCI adaptor in a cheap PC. It makes for a great AP!

It also opens the possibility for putting another card in and routing between two wireless
networks. Has anyone else done that yet?

Orinoco card (USD $99),
PCI adaptor (USD $59),
not having to buy another laptop for an AP...priceless!

cheers,

Mike
