Tomarrow is my last day in Australia for about a year, going back home
to the US for awhile (yes, there was a yank in your midst! *gasp*), and
then off to London, before returning to Melb. For those who don't know
me, I've been involved with Melbourne Wireless from the early days,
programming the node map and adding various other sections of the site.
I'll remain on the mailing list and can hopefully keep maintaining the
node db and continue to contribute to the group. With great pain I have
removed my node (AAA) from the db. Really bad time to be leaving with
all the increased interest from the age article. Took us months to get
up to 150 nodes, and in the last 2 days 30 have been added. Few weeks
ago we finally hit 100 people on the mailing list, and today there's
151, pretty amazing. Bah, and now Steve's organizing the first users
meeting, just had to do it as I was leaving! ;) Well, I'm off, seeya's
next year.
Oh yeah, if any of you want a good laugh, go out with Steve and Glen on
a link range test, I highly recommend it. :)
