[MLB-WIRELESS] Cloud cover and 802.11 speed?!

Hi all,

Does cloud cover make a difference to 802.11 speeds at all?  I doubt it,
myself, but I have to ask...

Yesterday, sitting where I am now in my living room, about 10 metres from
the other D-Link DWL-650 which is my wired network connection, I was only
getting 1Mbps.  It was overcast and generally not a nice day.

Today, blue skies and 11Mbps.

I'm puzzled - any ideas?
