sure.  but for my house, it's gonna be fun  ;-)

squid and some cron-driven pre-fetching help with limited upstream
bandwidth.

what protocols do the, for example, 34Mbps microwave links use?  they
work over reasonable distances.  they use licensed spectrum don't they?
or is this mostly cos they use higher radio power?

that's why i buy mine in the US.  USD59 is well below the AUD200
customs care threshold.  and make sure you tell the local vendor that
you are doing so.
