I think your council might have objections to you putting up a 50 foot
mast without a permit, and your neighbours may well notify them on
your behalf...
Still, if you can put up a 50 foot mast without permission I'd like
to hear about it. I'm pretty sure you need a permit for a tower of
that size, and a mast isn't really that different.
