[MLB-WIRELESS] 802.11 and 802.11b

I have the ACA and the FCC specs from their public websites on the regs
for the 5GHz band. The frequency rules are sufficiently close as to be
effectively the same. It is worth noting however that there are two
different bands allocated and 802.11A devices can use both. One is from
5150 to 5350 MHz and has a 200mW max EIRP and an operating restriction
of "indoor only". The other is from 5725 to 5875, has a max EIRP of 1W
and operating restriction note of "indoor and outdoor". Obviously, to
stay legal for long links you want to restrict the device to the upper
band only.

Richard.
